So here we go-30 days of eating healthy and exercise. My plan (fingers crossed) is to run 3 miles a day, 7 days a week. I plan to stick to a fairly strict diet as well. I'll post the general diet I used as often as I can. Basically eating homecooked meals consisting of meats and vegetables. My carb intake will be throughout the day with little to no carbs at night with tons of water daily with some gatorade and coconut water here and there for some energy boosts. I already eat 1 apple a day so I will have some vitamin C in my diet. Cutting out alcohol will help the massive calorie intake I had in my previous diet.... haha.
So I'm starting today 10/15/14 at 175.5 lbs. My goal weight for the 30 days is 158. A difficult task with only 30 days to get there, but not impossible. Lets see how I do.
What's the point? Fitness is very important in survival. Being healthy and in shape isn't just to have the stamina to live through a disaster, but necessary in every day life. I spent a little time doing some personal training back in the past and one of my best friends still does. I'm here to try sharing some of that knowledge and prove that it works. I am currently a seasoned runner, but that doesn't mean this won't work for any non-runners reading and trying this diet. Give it a try with 20-25 minutes of cardio a day. Don't over do it, but try and push yourself to see what you can accomplish.
Feel free to email me with diet questions, tips on how to become a runner and what gear and training you'll need. Or simply any other questions. See you soon!!
